What's the difference between residential and commercial/agricultural solar?
The distinction isn't really the property type, it's the load. A house with a workshop or a small hobby operation is usually still a residential job. A working farm, ranch, or commercial building with irrigation pumps, walk-in coolers, or heavy equipment pulling power in bursts needs a system sized around that draw specifically — that's what the commercial/agricultural service covers.
Do I have to choose between a new installation and battery storage, or can I get both?
Both — most homeowners who want backup power get it added onto a new installation from the start, since it's usually more efficient to design for it upfront than to retrofit later. If you already have solar without battery storage, that's a separate add-on project rather than a new installation.
I already have solar panels — which service applies to me?
If they're working fine and you just want backup power added, that's battery storage. If output has dropped, something looks damaged, or the company that installed them isn't around anymore, that's cleaning, repair, or maintenance. New installation only applies to a property that doesn't have solar yet.
